Mr. Welch seconded the motion. Motion carried 100%. TREASURER’S REPORT: Mr. Welch moved to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Mr. Simpson seconded the motion. Motion carried 100%. Mr. Welch moved that the Clerk/Treasurer be authorized to pay the bills. Mrs. Romweber seconded the motion. Motion carried 100%. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR’S REPORTIn the absence of Mrs. Gillespie Mr. Boll read the maintenance report. Mr. Boll moved to increase the part timers’ hours to 25 hours each week during grass cutting season. Mr. Simpson seconded the motion. Motion carried 100%. Three Rivers School Report Mr. David Schuey, member of the Three Rivers School Board introduced Board President Al Bates. He also explained the 1% earnings tax that will be on the ballot May 8, 2007. He said that because it is a payroll tax senior who are retired will not be taxed. Only earned income will be taxed. The tax will permit the district to build the one new elementary school. POLICE REPORT: Officer Hyrnak reported that there were 47 details in the Village in March. Two resulted in incident reports. One of those was a domestic violence at 20 Washington. There was a $559 theft at 14 Washington. There were also 2 auto accidents on U.S.50. FIRE REPORT: Deputy Chief Steve Ober reported there were 2 EMS runs as a result of the auto accidents. There were 3 actual fires in the Village in March, one at 154 Cliff Road was due to an appliance. None were serious. Chief Ober also reported that the fire hydrants will be tested in May. Those that need to be repaired will be repaired by the Cleves Water Works at no cost to the Village. COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS: None SOLICITOR OLD BUSINESS: Mr. Reichert read Resolution No. 2007-01. Resolution to transfer funds from General Fund to Street Maintenance Fund. Motion made by Mrs. Romweber to accept Resolution No. 2007-01 . Motion seconded by Tim Boll. Motion passed 100%. Mr. Reichert read Ordinance No. 2007-02 Ordinance authorizing agreement between North Bend and the Board of County Commissioners for engineering for Cliff Road improvements. Mr. Nunnery moved that Ordinance No. 2007-02 be passed as an emergency. Motion seconded by Mr. Boll. Motion carried 100%. Motion to accept Ordinance No. 2007-02 made by Mr. Nunnery. Motion seconded by Mr. Boll. Motion carried 100%. Mr. Reichert read Ordinance No. 2007-03 the Annual Appropriation Agreement. Mr. Welch made motion to pass Ordinance No. 2007-03 as an emergency. Motion seconded by Mr. Nunnery. Motion passed 100%. Motion made by Mr. Welch to pass Ordinance No. 2007-03. Motion seconded by Mr. Sammons. Motion passed 100%. Mr. Reichert read Ordinance No. 2007-04, Authorizing Agreement between North Bend and Addyston for furnishing water to residents of North Bend. No action took place on the water issue between Addyston and North Bend residents. MAYOR’S OLD BUSINESS: None COMMITTEES: FinanceNone Light, Water and SewerNone Maintenance Mr. Boll suggested residents call Hamilton County Environmental Services if they suspect emerald ash borer. He mentioned that no hazardous materials like batteries and tires are to be placed in the Village clean up dumpsters. Dumpsters will be available the last two weeks in April for citizens to use. If anyone has hazardous materials to dispose of they should call the County for the locations available to bring those materials. Police & Fire Mr. Simpson reported that Hamilton County will not test sirens on March 28, 2007 as they have had too many 911 calls in the past. From now on tests will be conducted the 1st Wednesday of each month at noon. Mr. Simpson also mentioned that National Public Health Month will be April 2-8, 2007. There will be two movie nights this summer in our park put on by North Bend Methodist Church. Mr. Simpson reported he has forms for Veterans to fill out who want to participate in the Memorial Day Parade. The parade will begin in Addyston this year. Mr. Simpson reported the Community Yard Sale date will be May 18, 19 and 20, 2007 in conjunction with the U.S. sale. He also said that April 27 and 28 will be the production of “Come Sail Away” at 7.30 P.M. at Taylor High School. The Village will support the Alumni Chorus and especially our Secretary June Rininger with a ½ page ad at $60.00.
