The Miami Township Fire Department (MTFD) operates with a combined full-time and part-time paid, with 3 stations having on-site around-the-clock staffing.

  • Miami Township Fire and EMS cover 21 square miles.

  • MTFD also covers the Villages of North Bend, Cleves, and Addyston for Fire and EMS under contract.

  • MTFD has 25 career firefighters and also employs part-time firefighters .

  • All 3 stations are staffed with Paramedics and EMTs.

  • Each station has an engine and a life squad. Station 70 has a quint (ladder).

  • MTFD operates multiple boats for water rescue and marine fires. 

  • MTFD also staffs a technical rescue trailer for Hazmat, Confined Space Rescue, and Rope Rescue

Responsibilities

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is what is referred to as a "Full Service" Sheriff's Office under Ohio Statute charged with:

  • The responsibility of maintaining public peace and protecting lives and property of Hamilton County citizens

  • Operation of the county correction facilities

  • Serving the courts
